About FinStackX
FinStackX explains global markets and personal finance in plain English for readers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. We cover stocks, gold, oil, currencies, crypto, central banks and the economy, plus practical guides on budgeting, saving, debt, credit, investing and retirement.
Our editorial standards
- Every figure has a source. Prices, rates, statistics and quotes are attributed to a named source with a link and the date or time they refer to. When sources disagree, we say so.
- Regional accuracy. Where rules differ between the US, UK and EU (accounts, taxes, protections, regulators), we explain each and say which country a rule applies to.
- No hype, no tips. We never tell readers to buy or sell a specific investment and never present price predictions as fact. Analysts' views are clearly attributed.
- Updated when things change. Guides show an “Updated” date when figures such as allowances, limits or rates are refreshed.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help research and draft articles. Drafts are built from cited sources, checked for unsupported numbers by a separate automated fact-check, and reviewed before publication. Articles that fail checks are held back.
Corrections
If you spot an error, tell us and we will fix it promptly and note significant corrections in the article.
