Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This policy explains what personal data FinStackX (“we”, “us”) collects when you use finstackx.com, why, and the choices and rights you have. We collect as little as possible. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who is responsible for your data

FinStackX is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].

Cookies and analytics

We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our visit statistics use a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that does not use cookies or local storage, does not fingerprint visitors and does not build profiles across sites. Our security and delivery provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from bots and attacks; such cookies do not require consent.

If we add advertising or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers (processors) who handle data on our behalf, under contract:

  • Cloudflare: content delivery, security and cookieless analytics.
  • Our hosting provider: the server that runs the website and stores logs.
  • Resend: sending newsletter emails and storing subscriber addresses.

Some articles display images loaded from Wikimedia Commons or Unsplash; your browser requests those images directly, so those services receive your IP address as part of the normal web request. We do not otherwise share or sell personal data, except where required by law.

International transfers

Some providers process data in the United States or other countries. Where personal data from the UK or the EU is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension, where the provider participates.

Your rights

UK and EU: under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); in the EU, the supervisory authority in your country.

United States: depending on your state (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month (or the period required by your local law). Every newsletter email also includes an unsubscribe link.

Children

FinStackX is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

Security

We use HTTPS throughout, limit access to personal data, and use reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
